Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any service offered by OLA Korea ("we", "us", or "our"), including our website at olakorea.com, Mentorship Community, Aesthetic Fact Sheets, and in-person training programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and OLA Korea. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

OLA Korea offers personal education, scheduled seminars, and services for companies and practising clinicians:

• Mentorship Community — Member discussions and learning resources, including educational videos shared within the community. Videos are not offered as separate course purchases.
• Aesthetic Fact Sheets — Written clinical learning guides by Dr. Jennifer K. Song, sold as personal PDF copies at olakorea.com/fact-sheets when orders are open.
• In-Person Training — One On One Mentorship in Busan for 1–3 participants and Clinical Observation in Seoul or Busan. Clinical Observation does not include participation in procedures. OLA SSF Seminar registration opens separately once its date, location and capacity are confirmed.
• Industry Education Partnership And Clinic Launch Program — Education partnerships for companies and separately scoped support for licensed practitioners bringing K-Aesthetics into their own clinic. On-site setup, travel, equipment and ongoing support are scoped and quoted separately.
• Equipment Rental — Short-term rental of aesthetic medical devices through our partnership with MediThinQ.
• Patient Services — Cosmetic procedure services for international patients as part of our Training Case program.

Participation is reviewed for the selected program before confirmation. Company and Clinic Launch Program enquiries are separate from personal education applications. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a place or reserve a training date.

3. User Accounts

Access to certain services may require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at [email protected].

You may not share your account or member access credentials with any third party. Access licenses are granted to the individual purchaser only and are non-transferable.

4. Payment Terms

Submitting a website enquiry does not take payment. Available payment methods, the agreed service and payment instructions are provided with your quotation or service agreement.

Specific payment terms, deposit requirements, and due dates will be provided in the individual service agreement or quotation issued to you. For One On One Mentorship and Clinical Observation the fee is paid in full in advance; where full prepayment is genuinely not possible and OLA Korea agrees in writing, a fixed USD 500 booking deposit confirms your training date instead. A training date is reserved only from the moment payment is received — until then it remains open to other bookings — and each offer states a payment due date (seven days from the agreement or thirty days before the training date, whichever is earlier; training dates less than thirty days away require full prepayment within three days). An offer that is not paid by its due date lapses without charge; a booking becomes confirmed once the deposit (or an approved deposit waiver) and your agreement to the applicable terms are both received. The remaining balance is settled on-site and confirmed as received before the session begins. Where the full fee was prepaid and the booking is cancelled, only the deposit portion is subject to the cancellation schedule in the Refund Policy; the remainder is refunded.

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified. Mentorship Community and Aesthetic Fact Sheets prices include all applicable taxes, and OLA Korea pays the PayPal processing fee. For training and other services, you are responsible for any currency conversion fees or bank charges in your jurisdiction.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided through OLA Korea's services — including but not limited to video lessons, course materials, written guides, images, logos, and trademarks — is owned by OLA Korea or the respective rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to access and view learning content for your own professional development. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

Member posts and uploads remain the responsibility of their authors. Upload only material you have permission to share, remove patient-identifying information, and do not repost private community material outside the community without permission.

Recording of any in-person training session — video, audio, or otherwise — is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission from OLA Korea.

6. Refund Policy

Our refund terms vary by service type. For full details, please refer to our Refund Policy. In summary:

• Mentorship Community membership:
  • Eligibility: membership is open to holders of a medical, dental, nursing, physician assistant or esthetician licence, or a national or government-accredited professional qualification. Training, course, society or company certificates are not accepted. Membership is not available to applicants practising in Korea.
  • Payment: a subscription paid through PayPal (a card can be used through PayPal's guest checkout). Bank transfer is not accepted for this membership.
  • Price and renewal: US$60 every 6 months. The membership renews automatically at the end of each period and PayPal charges US$60 for the next 6 months until you cancel. Launch offer: for memberships started within 6 months after membership payments open (until [date]), the first period is 12 months for US$60, as shown at checkout. Renewals are US$60 for 6 months.
  • Start of access: access starts as soon as PayPal confirms the payment. We email you 7 days before each automatic renewal with the amount and the date.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel automatic renewal at any time from My Account (Payment & Renewal) or in your PayPal account. Cancelling stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • No refunds: membership payments are non-refundable, including partial or unused periods, except where required by applicable law.
  • Failed payment: if a renewal payment fails, PayPal will retry it automatically. Your access is not extended until a retry succeeds; if the retries fail, your access ends at the end of the paid period.
  • Member benefit: one Aesthetic Fact Sheet of your choice from the volumes on sale, once per member. You choose it in My Account while your membership is active, after your first paid membership payment; a personal copy is sent to you by email, and the choice cannot be changed.
• Aesthetic Fact Sheets:
  • Price: one volume is US$49; each additional volume in the same order adds US$30 (two US$79, three US$109, all four US$139). Taxes are included and OLA Korea pays the PayPal processing fee. Orders are paid with PayPal; no site account is needed.
  • Eligibility: Aesthetic Fact Sheets are for licensed medical professionals; you confirm this before payment. They are not sold to buyers in Korea.
  • Delivery: after payment is verified, a personal PDF copy of each volume (your name, email and a Copy ID on every page) is sent to the email you entered as a download link, each valid for 7 days with up to 3 downloads. The copy is for your personal use only and may not be shared or resold.
  • Training participants: Training and Clinical Observation participants receive a personal copy of the Aesthetic Fact Sheets covering the subjects trained in or observed, sent after the programme.
  • Withdrawal and refunds: before payment you separately agree to immediate digital delivery. Once you begin downloading the PDF, you lose your right to withdraw from the purchase and cannot receive a refund, except where required by applicable law. Contact OLA Korea before downloading about an order problem, or at any time about a defective file.
• In-person training (One On One Mentorship, Clinical Observation): the fee is paid in full in advance; a fixed USD 500 booking deposit applies only where OLA Korea agrees in writing. Your date is reserved only once payment arrives, by the due date stated in your agreement. Cancellation 30+ days before training: deposit refunded in full; 14–29 days: deposit non-refundable, one free reschedule; under 14 days or no-show: deposit non-refundable. Any prepaid balance beyond the deposit is always refunded within 10 business days. These terms mirror Article 3 of the Training Participation Agreement.

OLA SSF Seminar registration and its event-specific terms will be published with the confirmed schedule.

7. Medical Disclaimer

All content provided by OLA Korea — including community resources, training materials, demonstrations, and any associated documentation — is intended solely for educational and professional development purposes. Nothing in our services constitutes medical advice, a clinical protocol, or a recommendation for patient care.

OLA Korea does not assume any responsibility for outcomes arising from the application of techniques learned through our programs. Medical professionals are solely responsible for exercising their independent clinical judgment and complying with all applicable regulations, licensing requirements, and standards of care in their jurisdiction.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OLA Korea, its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use our services for any unlawful purpose; (b) share, resell, or redistribute member access; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer or copy learning content; (d) misrepresent your credentials or professional status; (e) engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with our services or other users.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the interests of OLA Korea. Upon termination, your right to access learning content will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Busan District Court, Republic of Korea.
